Well that night I posted my last post, Mark came home! Yay! He came home late so the kids didn't see him til morning, but they were so excited and happy to see him. I wasn't expecting him to come home til the next day so it was nice for him to come home a bit early cuz I was able to go out with my friends! I know...horrible to leave him right away but Momma needed some away time! :) Luckily I have an amazing, understanding, go-with-the-flow hubby who didn't mind me going out for the day with my friends. We went out to lunch and then went dress shopping for the Seabee Ball (which is next weekend and we're not going this year since it's the day after my due date, super sad to miss out on it!)

Anyway, the first week Mark was home went pretty good. We got some things done, enjoyed some nice, beautiful weather, and the kids definitely enjoyed having daddy home all the time to play with! We even went to the beach one day which was awesome and perfect! I decided to take a few "maternity" pics while we were there even though it was super bright and bad time of day but oh well! They turned out pretty cute and I like them so that's all that matters :)

I was also able to take some pics for a friend of mine who is work on her advertising/etc for her Fitness Boot Camp/Personal training. It was fun cuz it was something new for me and also I hadn't done any sessions in nearly two months so I was itching to take some pics! :)
The week ended with my birthday, which was pretty laid back but great! I spent the day with my wonderful little family and ended the day going out to dinner with two other couples that we've become great friends with here and after came home and hung out with them for a bit and ate DQ Ice cream cake! It was awesome :) Plus I got a new lens from my awesome hubby (although I picked it out and ordered it of course...not gonna leave that up to him!) as my present/Valentine's Day present. I'm super excited to use it....just waiting for baby girl to get here to actually use it for a "session"!

I have had two appts in the past two weeks...one with an ultrasound which "measured" her at 7lbs10oz although the dr. says ultrasounds tend to overestimate. But even if she's barely over 7 she's still over the "average" weight for that time so I'm expecting a chunkier little baby! The next appt. showed a slight beginning to her arrival...50% effaced and barely 2 cm dialated...so better than nothing I guess! I had been feeling a lot of pressure before that and she's been pretty low so slowly but surely I guess!

Unfortunately this past week has been kind of slow going for us all around...the kids have been on and off sick as well as Mark and then Friday morning I finally got sick too although my "bug" only lasted 24 hours or so...thank goodness! Being sick and 39 weeks pregnant is NOT a good combination!!! And so far everyone else is looking to be feeling better too so HOPEFULLY it's finally going away for good! I've been more focused on everybody else this week and not as much on trying to get baby girl here going. But I guess it's a good thing cuz I don't really want to have a baby with sick kiddos and hubby at home! Or a sick me! So I'm hoping by my appt on Monday I'll be fully back to myself and they'll tell me I've had some more progress and then she'll come! We're SO READY! And tired of waiting! This past week has been making me a bit stir crazy with staying home so much with sick people and waiting for the baby and then getting sick....I'm just glad it's over!

Soooo yeah! Sucky for Mark to be home with us and spending half of it sick but what can you do I guess! At least he's home so I'm not complaining! We have nothing planned for next week except have this baby so pray she comes early in the week! This Momma is ready!!!!
