SO somehow I completely missed Elizabeth's 7 month update! I swear I did it but looks like it was one of my many brain hiccups this past couple months ;) I don't know if I'll be able to remember all the little cutie has been up to the past two months but we'll just go with what I can remember and add a bunch of pictures :) So my usual type post...haha.
Well she is officially a pro-crawler now and is EVERYWHERE around the house....and she quickly learned to pull herself up and onto her knees! I think faster than the other two did. She's just so interested in everything and curious and decided not to wait around to be able to get into things :) which is sooo fun for me :/ haha...so this means she's also getting into everything and putting anything and everything in her mouth. The past two weeks she learned how to get up from crawling to sitting and vice versa without falling over so she's super stable now! She's super playful and loves crawling around and finding new toys to play with. My favorite is when the other kiddos aren't around and she's cruising around looking for something to play with and when she finds it she kicks back on her back and plays with whatever it is and hums and talks to herself. It's adorable :)
She's starting to remember things now too, like where her toys are and for a long while she was DETERMINED to get under my desk no matter where I put her in the house or what I tried to distract her with, she always went back to it. So I finally had to put the gate around my work area again. She loves to follow the big kids around and is starting to get more interactive and tries to play with them. The other night she was totally messing around with Andrew and kept trying to take his binky away from him and then he'd take it back and she'd take it again. :) She doesn't even like binky's anymore so she's totally playing :) Which, yeah, she's totally over the binky- I lost her favorite one and she wouldn't take any other one and so when I found it a couple weeks later she didn't want it at all anymore. Fine with me as long as she doesn't use me as a binky ;)
Up until the past few nights, Elizabeth hasn't been exactly the best sleeper...which the other two were like this too while I was nursing them...waking up a lot to eat and then going right back to sleep. So at least she does that, goes right back to sleep...but averaging 4-5 times a night was WEARING me out! It felt like I was constantly waking up! So my friend watched her one day and Elizabeth took a nap there for seriously like FOUR hours, which was crazy....my friend had her in the closet in a play yard (the closets are really big!) so it was dark and quiet with a fan. I tried that at my house...and nothing...so back to waking up a lot...and then the other night I decided to try it again and this time it worked! She started waking up only 3 times a night and last night only twice! One night she slept from 7-3am! It was amazing! So glad we got that worked out finally....
She's still my chubby little cutie pie, although I have no clue how much she weighs. She is wearing things that Evelyn wore at a year old though so she's getting big (mostly cuz Evelyn was such a skinny little thing compared to Elizabeth!). I love putting her in things that Evelyn wore though! I love her hair still..it's getting so long and I loove the red! She's so darn cute!
She's started to eat some real foods now...still won't let me feed her any baby food or even any pureed food I make for her so we've forgotten about that and just moved on to tiny pieces of real food. She loves to feed herself and won't let anyone feed her. She loves puffs and has tried scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, diced up avocados and diced up bananas (she didn't quite like that though cuz it was too slimy to pick up :)
