The difficult we do immediately. The impossible takes a little bit longer. --U.S. Navy Seabees--

So I realized that I haven't done much at all post-wise except Andrew's monthly updates and I said I was gonna do more and still haven't...so I'm gonna start with the Seabee Ball that we went to in March!

My three friends and I previously went shopping in February to get gowns, which was SO fun! We found some awesome dresses and it was so fun to dress up super nice and fancy! We met at one of the couples houses cuz they lived a block away from where the ball was being held, and got ready there and took some pics. I'm glad we did because no one liked the pics the photographer at the ball took! Well they were ok but I like these better ;)

My friend Morgan and me! She's the one Evelyn is going to be flower girl for. I've only known her for a year now but she is an amazing girl and I'm so glad we're friends! :)

The rest of the girls (well at least the ones that met at the house, there were definitely more wives at the ball)

Morgan, me, and Beverly!

My best gals here! I feel so lucky and happy to have such wonderful women to be stationed with.  I'm going to be SO sad when we leave!!!!!!

The Korpi's! I LOVE her dress!

Morgan and Erwin, they're so cute together!

The (now) Downings! They just got married a couple weeks ago!

And I think these two are newly engaged :)

Mike and Beverly

Me and my best bestie! We've been together three years now! Love this girl!

My dashing hubby and I! I love when they wear their dress uniforms!

Studly men :)

Anywho....I didn't take any pics at the actual ball cuz I only brought my phone but it was a super fun night! A lot of "ceremonial" type stuff at the beginning, dinner, and dancing! I loved being able to just hang out with these awesome people and partake in some awesome military traditions. Makes me very proud to be a military family when I attend ceremonial events and feel that sense of pride in our nation and these amazing men and women that are with us. (This ball was in honor of the Seabee Birthday just FYI.)

I really don't have too much else to say about the night...nothing specific anyway but it was super fun (it was my first ball btw!) and I look forward to the upcoming ones!

The pictures are great - I agree, the men always look so nice in dress uniforms. You ladies look mighty nice too - I'm glad you had a good time.
