Thanksgiving/Mark's R&R

I've been horribly slack about my blog and I better catch up before we move! :)

The Sunday before Thanksgiving Mark came home for his R&R and spent two weeks with us! It was so wonderful but went by too fast :( We had a nice week at home just hanging out and spending time together. We had a small Thanksgiving meal, which was delicious! Then on Black Friday we drove down to Florida to spend a week! Elizabeth and I went to one of my friend/photography mentor's wedding, which was gorgeous!  And it was nice getting out with just one kid for awhile ;)

After that we spent a week at Disney, which was pure magic! I've never gone during the holidays before but am definitely gonna do that again! It was 100x's more amazing than Disney regular :) All the decorations were awesome, the lights were beyond amazing, and the whole feel of the place was pure wonderful! :) We had so much fun and got to do some new things which was even more cool.

The first day we went to the Magic Kingdom and started off the day getting our family pictures done by the amazing Lilipop Photography! She did a wonderful job and I absolutely love our pictures!

aren't these amazing? She did so good at making it seem like we were the only ones there!

what better way to capture the Disney feel than on the Carousel!?!

My silly husband :)

I love my Prince Charming! :)

Then we spent the rest of the day having fun :) There was some new stuff open in New Fantasyland and we of course did some of the usual stuff too :) It was fun to see Andrew enjoy it this time now that he's older and actually realizes who people are and likes riding rides.

Peter Pan was pretty funny :)

I LOVED seeing his excitement and happiness on this trip! Pure joy!

and this is how we REALLY look ;) haha! going on the train around the park was one of Andrew's favorite though!

The second day we went to the Animal Kingdom, got to see some animals, which the kids loved, and ate lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe, which was delicious!

baby gorilla! SO CUTE!

Then after a little nap time back at our room, we went to Hollywood Studios and got to see the beautiful lights at Old Main Street, which was set to music and was so cool! We also went to Wanderin' Oaken's Frozen Snowground, which the kids loved! We stayed for the Fantasmic show that night too, but the kiddos were getting tired/cranky so we had to watch the last of it as we walked out.

do you want to build a snowman? :)

Making a snow angel! :)

The third day we went back to Hollywood Studios again and did some Disney Jr. stuff, saw some shows, including a "Frozen" musical which was super fun and cute! We also ate dinner at a "Drive-in" restaurant, which was cute too.

She was so cute singing along to "Let it Go"!

This was one of my favorite things at Disney- the lights on Main Street!

she spent a lot of our trip like this :) Love my sweet baby!

Our last day we went back to the Magic Kingdom and started the day early so we could meet Elsa and Anna! Evelyn was so ecstatic and it was super fun meeting them. They were such good characters and it was fun seeing them interact with the kids. Andrew was really funny, to keep him happy in lines we had stickers and an empty book and he would sit there and put stickers in the book forever...so the whole time we were talking to Elsa and Anna he just sat there next to them and was totally engrossed by it and ignored them. :) Silly boy....

they hid Andrew under their capes :)

Another fun thing that day was that I took Evelyn on her first real "roller coaster", the Dwarf Mine Ride, which is new, and was really fun! She loved it!

roller coaster time :)

I love Disney Characters! They are so awesome with kids..of any age!

and this girl...ugh..she's SO CUTE!

We spent our last part of the night eating dinner at the Beast's castle (YUM) and watching Elsa light up the castle, which was AMAZING! I had it videoed on my phone and it was recording the whole time but when I played it back it cut off the very end finale of it lighting up! :( so that sucked...but it was SO cool and SO Pretty!!! Definitely a wonderful way to end our Disney trip!

try the gray stuff it's delicious! :) They actually had "the gray stuff" for dessert!

Frozen Castle!

We had one day left in FL, which we just hung out and enjoyed some downtime...then we drove home and had a few more days left with Mark home! We didn't do too much but we did go see Santa and got our Christmas tree and set it up. So it was nice to have Mark home to do that stuff with us for the holidays :)

Andrew didn't care for Santa :)

But I love this pic of my girls!

Couldn't help but take some pics of my kids when we got our tree!

I love these kids!

Love his mischievous little face!

and how crazy is it that she's 5?!?

and this little angel...I just want her to stay like this forever!

One last thing before Mark left was Evelyn had her first piano recital! I was glad Mark was home to be able to see it too!

And here's some pics from my phone from Mark's visit :)

he was so happy to see his daddy!

we got to go on one date while he was home :)

taking a nap with daddy! so cute!

Andrew wasn't too happy..understandable since mark was about to leave! :( :( :(
