Christmas 2016

This Christmas season was a busy one but it flew by! It was a good one though...quiet and pretty casual for us since we didn't have any one over or visiting...but still good!

We went a saw Santa a couple weeks before Christmas. The kids did pretty good! No crying this year at all!

Santa came in on a fire truck

The store Santa was at had a lego event the same day so we did that after we saw Santa with some of our friends :)

these two are SO CUTE!

The kids had their Christmas Concert on the last day of school. Andrew's class did a little song/dance number and were dressed up as Santa/Mrs. Claus...which was adooorable! Andrew was pretty darn adorable especially ;)

Evelyn's class did a little nativity picture with each kid having a speaking part...Evelyn did SO good with hers! I'm so proud of her and her Spanish. They sang a song too after that.

The Three Kings also came to the concert and met with each of the children. Which was super cute!

Like I said, our Christmas was pretty quiet. We did go out Christmas Eve afternoon to see a movie with a family from church (we sang "Sing!" which the kids loved!) but other than that we kept to ourselves! We watched a lot of Christmas movies over the week, made and gave out lots of goodies, eating the leftovers of course ;) I love Christmas baking! Oh and we decorated gingerbread/graham cracker houses :)

I don't even remember now why she was crying...something ridiculous I'm sure ;)

The rest of Christmas Eve we had our Christmas dinner and opened our Christmas jammies as well as my mom's Christmas present, which was some custom shirts with the tagline from her Christmas song she wrote one this year (she writes one every year). This year's was "This House Believes". After the kids FINALLY went to bed (they took forever that night), I got to take some pretty pics of our tree before heading off to bed so we'd be ready for Christmas morning!

I was testing out the lighting in the room and Little Lizzie was my model ;) She's so funny! This is her favorite dress btw...she wants to wear it day and night right now!

all of us wearing Grammy's shirts

Playing nicely for a little while with a puzzle from Grammy!

Evelyn left a note and a picture for Santa, because he needed a gift too. She's so sweet!!!

I love my fireplace :)

The kids luckily didn't wake up too early, but were all so excited when they did! They had a lot of fun opening presents and watching each other open them.

Their facials this year were so great!!!

After presents it was my next favorite time...fried bread! I stepped it up this year and did a few with nutella inside which was Delicious! Super rich though ;)

We did go to church for Sacrament meeting, which was very nice! It was full of musical numbers and the Christmas story, always a great Sunday! We were combined with the Spanish congregation so everything was dual language...which was also pretty cool.

he was upset that I did his hair for church...such a mean mom right? ;)

The rest of Christmas Day was spent hanging out at the house and enjoying all our new goodies.

Since Mark had Monday off we took some time and did a family bowl day :) So it was a fun filled family weekend ;) And that was pretty much our Christmas weekend! We love and miss all of you and hope to see some of you in the upcoming year!
