At the beginning of December I got to go on a Girls Trip to Germany! A bunch of ladies from church got together to go on it (there were 9 of us total). It was super fun...the Christmas markets were SO amazing! It was so Christmasy and pretty! I miss all the Christmas decorations...Spain has some but nothing quite as awesome as Germany....like a postcard! So quaint and adorable. I loved it!
We got in pretty late the first night so we stayed close to the hotel and then left on our way the next day. We spent most of the day in Rudesheim at their Christmas Market...which was my favorite! It was a little town right on the Rhine River. It was such a cute little town!!! Little streets with lots of cute German buildings, Christmas lights everywhere and Christmas trees everywhere! It was perfect!

Hot cocoa! It was pretty cold so we had lots of cocoa :) |
|
SUPER cute little store, forgot the name but everything was gorgeous!! |
We did drive on to another town later that afternoon, to Weisbedan. We stayed there for the rest of our stay and went to that Christmas Market that evening and then that following day. It was more of a city so that market was in the main city center. We enjoyed most of the morning/early afternoon walking around there before heading off to the next town! ;)

we found some waffles, unfortunately not liege ones but still pretty good :) |
|
these were SO GOOD! It was some type of potato pancake that they fried and then you dip it in apple sauce :) YUM |

all of us! :) |

Lifesize German Pyramid! Super cool |
Right next door to this town was Mainz, which had a Christmas Market too. We went there that evening so we could see it all lit up and to eat dinner...which was a bit of an adventure...everything was full or needed reservation so some of us ended up going back near the hotel to eat. It was still fun to walk around the market though! It was super pretty too....not as quaint of a town as Rudesheim but not as much of a city as Weisbedan.
