Elizabeth {5 Months}

My sweet little Lizzie is getting so big! She's weighing around 18 lbs now and has the adorable little baby rolls and dimples that I love. :) She seems to be growing out of things so quick lately too! She is super playful now and just wants to play all day....she plays with toys and loooves her feet. She's grabbing at anything and everything she can reach and is starting to put everything in her mouth. Luckily, unlike Andrew, she doesn't seem to be teething at this age yet! yay! She's still rolling everywhere and is getting happier playing on her tummy. She loves watching her brother and sister play and is so nosy and wants to watch and see everything around her. Even when she's nursing, if she hears them she lifts her little head up and looks around.

Lizzie is still a super sweet, talkative, smiley little girl and so much fun! I love her happy little personality and how much fun she is. She's learned to blow raspberries and is babbling like crazy....lots of mamamas, babababas, and other things...it's super fun to watch her "talk" to Evelyn and Andrew. She also loves to see her Daddy on Skype and smiles and talks to him too :) Very sweet! Another thing she's started doing is humming when she's tired/falling asleep, which is something Andrew did too :) I love it!

One thing I forgot to mention last month was we got her ears pierced! She cried a little bit but not very long and she looks so pretty! :)

Elizabeth {4 Months}

This has been a looooong month I tell ya what! It seems way longer than a month since my last post...but anyway! Yesterday My sweet little Elizabeth hit the 4 month mark! I would have posted this yesterday but I actually thought it was the 9th and that today was the 10th so.....whoops :) I'm not at my most reliableness right now in remembering things, not that I ever am but I'm extra not with it...still trying to balance my life out right now and haven't hit the right mix yet :)

Anywho! Back to the original reason for this post...Miss Elizabeth! She's still the sweetest, cutest, little thing ever, still very talkative and smiley and adorable. She's gotten a lot more active over the past month and is now a roly-poly little girl...she's rolling all over and now when she's on her back, will scoot herself back by pushing with her legs. She looves toys and grabbing at everything and she can't sit still for a second now! Which is all fine and dandy but sucks at night!

She's been a bit more difficult of a sleeper these past couples weeks, which I think partly is due to a growth spurt (she's getting so big!) and partly to her increased mobility. She's been rolling over at night which wakes her up and then she's fidgety which wakes her up. And she surprisingly takes up a lot of space for a baby! I've got this king sized bed to myself so I just keep her on the other half but like last night I laid her next to me to nurse and then she fell asleep so I didn't want to move her so I was stuck on the edge of the bed til her next wake up time. So that's been fun.... :)

Elizabeth loves her siblings and will watch them and laugh at them any time they're near. Evelyn loves her and plays with her quite a bit and Andrew is wanting to play more now that she's getting more active too.

Elizabeth {3 months}

My sweet little angel baby is 3 months! As always, time is going by fast!!! In one way I'm super glad, cuz it means this deployment is going by fast but in another way cuz I'm super sad cuz it feels like she's growing so fast already! She seems like such a big girl and I want her to stay my little baby longer! I'm definitely taking in all her babiness and enjoying it as much as possible though! She is just so utterly adorable and sweet and so much fun. I adore her :)

I know most of you know that she wasn't exactly part of the plan for this year...we were pretty surprised and were a bit worried with the deployment and all but we knew that God has his reasons for bringing her sweet little self into our family and I'm already feeling like it was the right move! :) Good thing He knows what He's doing right?

Elizabeth is by far my best baby and SO easy-going, and so adorable and smiley and sweet! She makes it super hard to be sad/lonely...I wake up and she's there smiling up at me, all through the day she's talking and playing and smiling (she of course has her moments and cries...she can't be perfect but she's pretty close ;), and at night when the other kiddos go to bed and I'm alone, she's right there with me cuddling and smiling and sleeping all sweet...I think Heavenly Father knew I would need such a sweet spirit to help me this year and I'm so glad I have her! Nothing makes my mood change faster than looking down and seeing her sweet eyes and smile looking up at me. Now don't get me wrong here....I love Evelyn and Andrew a LOT but right now Evelyn is a fiesty/whiney/hard to handle sometimes 4 year old and Andrew is a rough/totally all boy/toddler who is going into the fun 2 year old stage and is hard to handle sometimes too!

So here is what Elizabeth has been up to...she's been super fun lately...playing with toys and starting to grab at them...she's still super talkative and LOVES to talk to anyone...her face just lights up so sweet and cute! She even has started to laugh a little bit and it's adorable :) She's started to roll on her side a bit and yesterday she rolled all the way over but I missed it cuz I was taking Evelyn to school and Carmen was watching her :( :( :( Luckily she still is a great sleeper...a rough night here and there but for the majority of the time she sleeps really good and on average wakes up 2 times a night to eat and goes right back to sleep! yay! The only place she's not good is the car....she still isn't happy in there ever since our trip to MO :( which sucks!
