After our Paris trip it was pretty much a run to the end of school! It went by quick and it was a super busy time...between regular home stuff, work stuff (June is one of my busiest times here with the Sunflowers blooming), church stuff, and then all the end of the year stuff....class meetings, getting ready for the kids end of the year performance as well as Evelyn's dance class and end of the year parties....whew! it was busy.
The kids had their end of the year performance on the last day of school. Like last year, each class performed a dance, it was so cute! It was hot and late though so when Andrew got up there he wasn't too happy about it :) Afterwards they met to the side for pictures and a treat. We had a sad farewell to Andrew's teacher (she isn't coming back to the school next year). She is the absolute sweetest lady and is such an amazing teacher!!! Andrew adored her.
Evelyn was a lot more into her dance (unfortunately my phone froze up when she went on stage so I only got pics... I snagged a video from a friend that had a daughter in the same class though :) )
After school was out we had a big get together at a friends house to say farewell to a few families that were leaving our little Chipiona group. It's so sad to see these families leave! No matter how little time you have with people, you get close quick in the military and it's always super hard to say goodbye. We had a fun afternoon though- hung out, the kids played and swam, we ate food...good way to say goodbye :)
